This backyard transformation was designed with the intent of letting the client's dogs roam free in their backyard without the consequences of tracking mud all over. Before starting the project, we noticed that a major concern on the site was the lack of proper drainage. In order to overcome this challenge, we first created a drainage system that would lead to a rain garden situated toward the back of the client’s property. After the drainage solutions were installed, we carried out the terraced design with turf. This design created a stylish solution to the drainage problem and was ideal for the clients and their pets.
